My name is Ricardo Sandor and i study at Balboa Academy, in Panama City, Panama. I will be representing Human Rights Watch (NGO) in GA3. This is my first THIMUN conference and willing to get the most of it. I am very excited particularly with this topic because GA3 is totally humanitarian and the Human Rights Watch Ngo is one of the most important delegations concerning the issues to be discussed.

Hello to all, my name is Farah Abdelhamid, and I introduce myself as an international and multi-cultural student living in Cairo, Egypt nowadays. I have previously also lived in Geneva, Jordan, Brussels, Lebanon, Vienna and have visited many places in the world since I have had the advantage of having a Diplomatic father.

I have attended many MUN conferences in Beirut, Lebanon over the past 3 years and have achieved many different awards in different forums such as the ICJ, GA-A and GA-B, and the HRC. Playing roles in diplomacy as part of the United Nations inspires me in reaching out to the opinions and policies that are real and applicable in the world today.

This is my first THIMUN conference, and my last as well as a 16 year old Senior.

Hello everyone! My name is Alyssa, as shown by my forum name, and I will be representing Mauritius this year! I am a senior at Park Tudor which is in Indianapolis in the States. Anyways, I grew up in the UK and I love and miss Europe terribly. I've done a few MUN conferences; however, this will be my first, and sadly last, time at THIMUN (it's a trip strictly for seniors at my school). This will be my third conference participating in SOCHUM; it's by far the best. I am a little nervous due to the size of the conference, so you can count me in on the hiding behind a column routine. As for a bit of random information, I love to sing, specifically opera, go dancing, and travel and I am fluent in Spanish. I also desperately wish I still had my English accent. Anyways, I really should stop delaying studying for my exams... Looking forward to meeting all of you!

Oh, also, since the trip is for seniors only at Park, no one really knows where to go out to, etc. If anyone wants to show me and my friends around one of the first nights after committee, we would be very appreciative.

To answer your question, I'm from Dublin. Rugaidh mo thuismitheoirí in Baile Athá Cliath. I speak English, Dutch and Spanish fluently and some Irish (though not nearly as well as I'd like to). Where are you from? By having lived 'here' for fourteen years did you mean Holland or Ireland?

In light of the recent tragedies that have taken place, I would just like to say this:
This may be just a stimulation of the real United Nations and we may not be very old, but we can make a difference. Please let's all remember the deceased in our prayers and try to do as much as we can to ease the sufferings. Whether it be through donating blood to victims of the tragedies or just praying for the deceased, every little thing counts, and if we all do a little, we can change the world.

I assure you, any request to join will be accepted.

Also, seeing as we are, more or less, of the same mind, I we all try to unite. Some small sacrifices must be made to reach consensus, but if you as a delegate are willing to let the small stuff go, I have much hope for our collaboration.

I'm Erin, and I'm a delegate for Botswana. I'm a junior at the International School of Zug and Luzern (ISZL) which is about twenty minutes away from Zuerich, Switzerland. Before this year, I was in London (at ACS Hillingdon) for three years, but I spent most of my life in the US.
